CUTE STRIPES, POLKA DOTS, & PLAIDS COTTON BIB APRON REFUGEE MADE IN USA
You will be proud to wear this cute apron, designed and sewn by refugee craftswoman Benedicte Buoho.
Originally from Ivory Coast, Benedicte spent five years in a refugee camp in Togo before coming to the U.S. with her two children in May 2016. They are all native French speakers and are working hard on their English skills.
We are proud to offer Benedicte’s creations to our customers, and to help her make a new life for herself and her children here in the Detroit area.
This apron uses 2 contrasting fabrics: The bib features colorful stripes accented with polka dots. The bib is edged in plaid. The skirt repeats that plaid as the main fabric, with the striped used for the waistline, 2 patch pockets, and the hem.
The bib section is pleated into the edging, and the skirt is pleated into the waistband.
This apron fastens with ties at the neck and waist.
Colors: Multi-colored. The plaid features brown, red, yellow, and blue on a white background. The stripes and dots include yellow, orange, blue, purple green, red, pink, white, and black.
