Vintage 1950s White Full Length Shelf Bust Formal or Wedding Dress
White Strapless Formal Dress
This 1950s white strapless formal could be worn as a prom or wedding dress.
The lower part of the bodice is white nylon covered in floral lace netting. The sweetheart bustline is covered with layers of plain netting, and edged in a wide strip covered in floral lace netting for a shelf effect. The entire bodice is boned front and back.
The floor length full skirt is white nylon covered in 2 layers of stiff plain netting.
Side metal zipper.
This dress has been taken in about 2.5 inches at one side, as shown, so it’s possible to add 2 inches to the bust and waist.
